As you know, I recently attended an all-athlete presentation on accessible media and how you present yourself on the internet. Surprisingly, I learned a conduct of new things about fond media. Prior to the meeting, I thought it would be pointless and boring. But after, I realized how many important things there are to know and if I missed that meeting, I could possibly unsex mistakes in the future. The cleaning woman who led the presentation (I cannot recall her name) was hilarious. She related to students well and ostensibly is great at her occupation. I was impressed at the posture that she went to Harvard AND played three sports; now thats incredible. A get by that I think that she is bang-up at her job is out-of-pocket to the fact that she has kidskins our age and understands how to deal with us and how popular social media is. Instead of the meeting being long and drawn out, it was fun, interactive, and comical. The PowerPoint slides were bon nie cool, and I realized just how stupid athletes can be sometimes. My favorite slide was the one about the kid who got arrested for alcohol addiction and such, but got let off because he was a gilded athlete; and not a week later fits appeared on the internet of the kid in a cellmates coherent drinking, pestiferous the fact that he wasnt arrested. Needless to say, these pictures were erect and the kid was arrested with severe consequences. Now I understand that none of my teammates would do such a thing, but we could still make mistakes on facebook with a dumb status update or picture tag, or on twitter with condescending remarks. in the beginning committing to Binghamton and turn a D1 athlete, I would do stupid hook on twitter and facebook, maybe curse a lot or say borderline remarks. Now, after the information from the meeting, I am hesitant to post a lot of things and ahead I post something, I ask myself, Would my mom or heap approve of this?
